Throw Pillows Compared: Roses Are Red, Know Your Worth, Queen, Thug Life and Basic From $12.99
Updated: Oct 22
A throw pillow is the cheapest way to change how a room feels. A couch that looked like a waiting room can look like a place you want to sit after one small purchase. Nu'Jants sells printed throw pillows with short messages on them, and five of them are easy to mix up because their names and sizes are close. This guide separates Roses Are Red, Know Your Worth, Queen, Thug Life and the Basic Pillow, with the sizes and prices exactly as the pages list them.
Roses Are Red, 14 by 14
The Roses Are Red throw pillow measures 14 by 14 inches and costs $12.99. The page describes premium materials and a size that suits a couch, a bed or a favorite chair. If you are looking for the one-cent sign-up deal, that is a separate product with its own post, explained in how the penny pillow deal works. This listing is the regular version at the regular price.
Know Your Worth, 14 by 14
The Know Your Worth throw pillow is 14 by 14 inches and priced at $22.91 as a one-time purchase, which makes it the most expensive of the printed pillows here. The page frames it as a daily reminder of your value, so it works as a gift for a friend starting a new job, a graduate or a daughter heading to her first apartment. The page also shows a Pillow of the Month plan that charges $13.91 a month for 3 months, so choose the option you want before you check out.
Queen, 16 by 16
The Queen pillow is the larger of the printed pillows at 16 by 16 inches, and it costs $12.99. The page has a 4 out of 5 star rating from one review, which says the pillow is soft and comfortable. One review is a small sample, so read it as a single buyer's word rather than a trend. It is a natural gift for a mom, a sister or a friend who runs her own show.
Thug Life, 14 by 14
The Thug Life throw pillow is also 14 by 14 inches at $12.99. The page calls it perfectly sized for a couch or a bed, with an edgy style. Nu'Jants lists a second Thug Life listing as well, with a different photo, at the same price, so look at both pictures and pick the one you like. For the full set of bold statement pillows, the motivational throw pillows guide covers Hustle, Queen and Started From the Bottom.
The Basic Pillow
The Basic Pillow is the plain option and it has the most facts on its page. It starts from $20.38 and comes in three sizes: 18 by 18, 20 by 12 and 22 by 22 inches. The case and insert are 100% polyester, the case has a hidden zipper and is machine washable, and the shape-retaining insert is included but is hand wash only. The page lists a fabric weight of 6.49 to 7.37 ounces per square yard. It has twelve photos, so you can see it styled before you choose a size.
