Christmas Home Decor Under $20: Santa Rug, Floor Mat and Gnome Night Light

Christmas decor does not have to mean a big spend. Three items at Nu'Jants cost $15.00 or less to start: a Santa rug, a floor mat and a gnome night light. They cover three places in the house that often get forgotten, which are the floor, the entryway and the nightstand.

The Santa Claus rug

The VIKAMA 3D Visual Santa Claus Christmas Rug starts from $15.00. The page says it makes a bold statement in a living room, a den or anywhere you want to start the season. The listed details are 100% polyester, a PVC non-slip backing, machine washable, fade resistant, multiple size options and a note that it rolls flat after delivery. Size options listed include 40 by 60 centimeters and larger sizes up to 160 by 230 centimeters. There are five color or pattern options.

The Christmas tree Santa elk floor mat

The Christmas Tree Santa Claus Elk Anti-Slip Floor Mat is $13.75. The page describes Santa, reindeer and a classic Christmas tree design on a soft polyester flannel top with an anti-slip backing. It calls the mat moisture absorbing, wrinkle resistant, fade resistant and anti-bacterial, and suggests an entryway, a bathroom, a kitchen or anywhere that needs a touch of holiday magic. Sizes are 30 by 50, 40 by 60 and 50 by 80 centimeters, and it is machine washable.

The Christmas gnome night light

The Christmas Gnome Faceless Doll Night Light is $11.50. The page lists a flannel body, a soft LED glow and a classic gnome silhouette. It is battery powered, with a 3V button cell included, and it has no remote. The size is listed as approximately 35 centimeters. The emitting color options are red and green, among others. It is described as the right size for a stocking or for sitting under the tree.

Where each one goes

• Rug: living room or den, under a coffee table or by the tree.

• Floor mat: the front door, the kitchen sink or the bathroom.

• Night light: nightstand, shelf or mantel.

Check the size before you order

Rugs and mats are the items most often returned for size. Measure the space where it will go, then compare it with the size list on the page. The rug page lists inches as well as centimeters. For a hallway or a small entry, the smallest rug sizes will do. If you are unsure, ask through the contact page post.

Gifts under $15

The gnome light and the floor mat both work as small gifts. A teacher, a neighbor or a coworker gets something useful that looks festive. The gnome also suits a child's room, since it is a light and not a flame.

Pairing with the kitchen

If you are decorating the kitchen too, the Christmas dish drying mats come in six designs. For a gift that is wearable, the Christmas hoop earrings add a bit of sparkle.

Paying for it

Shipping at Nu'Jants is a flat $5.99 on every order, and Afterpay, Klarna and Affirm are available at checkout if you would rather pay in 4. A share of every Nu'Jants sale also goes to the American Red Cross.
